Huldit - Bike Lock Holder (Medium)

I was searching for an additional frame mount for my Abus lock without much luck when I came across the Huldit which, for the most part, has proven to be a better solution. The lock mounted in the factory mount always has a tendency to squeak and shift side to side when pedalling out of the saddle (but when tightened, makes the lock very difficult to fit and remove) which has been elongated, and is simple to remove when not required to keep the silhouette clean. The only downer is the straps. I took the the advice of others and purchased some frame protection tape which I didn't have the opportunity to apply it before taking a couple of rides, and as a result (and as others have experienced), the rubber grip on the inside of the Velcro straps have left black, grip-dot pattern stains on the (silver) paintwork that I haven’t been able to remove. Fortunately, my ride has a few miles under its belt and the marks to prove it so for me it was disappointing rather that heartbreaking, but, if your particular about your paintwork, your millage may vary, so to speak.

EDIT: I’ve now realised that putting frame protection film where it would need to go would have to go over decals which would threaten to trash them if I ever wanted to peel the stuff off so now I’m stuck between a roof and a hard place. Hopefully, Huldit may see fit to revise the strap material in the future?

I really wanted a better solution for my lock than I'd had previously, and this seemed to be the best I could find. Shame it costs so much to ship to England, but to be honest, once it arrived and I was using it, I didn't mind - worth every penny.

I used Huldit for my Kryptonite KryptoLok Combo Bike U-Lock. The Huldit is easier to use and more secure than the clip holder that came with my lock. Great product.

The product is high quality and hold my U lock Securely. It is designed for normal diameter bike tuning, but I wish it would work a bit better on my rear rack. The rear rack tubing is too narrow to securely wrap the strapping around and have enough room for the Velcro to be as secure as I’d like

Works really well on both my bikes, easy to setup and use. Love how the two different straps let me place it where I'd like on the frame.
